Excerpt from the statutes

The purpose of the network is to promote innovation in NRW's economy, to assist in improving the technological position above all of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region and to contribute to realising the changes needed in the economic structure of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The network regards itself as a self-help organisation for all enterprises in NRW involved in innovation and technology issues or with an interest in these topics. The network will support co-operation between enterprises in this area to the best of its ability.

The network also strives to establish a close and trusting partnership with other institutions in this area, in particular with the Government of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and other public bodies in the region as well as with universities, major research institutes, technology transfer agencies, chambers, other associations and all parties interested in innovation and technology issues.
